I find myself every January saying, “How can it be a new year already?!”, but I love this time of year, where all the promise and potential of the year is stretched ahead of us.
In 2019, I am particularly excited about the many opportunities we’ll have to work with you to support your local chaplaincy service. By working together we will see the promises and potential of the year ahead turned into real stories of hope and transformation.

On the subject of great LCCs, in this edition of Chaplaincy Matters, Joe Funnell, shares how his LCC pulled together a record-breaking trivia night for Albany Creek State High, which blitzed their original fundraising target.

The State Government has announced it will be rolling over the Federal Government funding for Term 1, which should simply the process for everyone. The Department of Education said: “For 2019, schools that received NSCP funding in 2018 will continue to receive the same level of funding, plus a slight indexation.”
