Jeff Howard is Regional Manager for the Brisbane region. This area encompasses an area from Caboolture to the South of Brisbane, East to Redlands Bay and to the Western side of Brisbane. Jeff’s region has 215 schools, 200 Chaplains and numerous local Churches.
Jeff is married to Debbie and they have just celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary. They have 2 children, Jordan (22) & Laura (20). Jeff has worked for SU QLD for the last 8 years in a variety of roles. Some of these have been as a District Coordinator, Field Support Manager and Conference Manager. Prior to working for SU QLD, Jeff worked for 7 years with Amart Allsports in the Footwear buying team, hence has a great love of sport!
Jeff has a team of 5 Field Development Managers in the Brisbane region, including Julie Hosie (Caboolture), Sarah Chandler (Peninsular, Pine & Narangba), Chris Macnaught (Brisbane North), Troy Wilson (Brisbane West) and the Brisbane South district is has a new FDM, Alison Kingdom who has worked previously with SU as a chaplain.
The diversity of the region brings exciting opportunities. What may be working in the Caboolture district may not work in Brisbane South, so there are lots of opportunities to create different partnerships and work outcomes.
The daily opportunity to serve his team, schools and their communities is a passion close to Jeff’s heart. Jeff loves to build partnerships with local churches, agencies and like-minded professionals.
Jeff is also constantly amazed at the support and passion of local volunteers and LCC chairs. Jeff loves to train, encourage and support these partners. You are likely to meet Jeff at local LCC Forums or chaplaincy fundraising events, or training chaplains at their in-service Days.
