We’ve reached July, which means we’re at the halfway point in the year! As Term 3 begins, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued service of School Chaplaincy through your LCC. There’s still half of the year to go, so let’s make these remaining months count!
It’s all systems go here in Brisbane office, as many of our team are preparing for Staff Conference from August 1st – 4th. In under a week, more than 700 chaplains and staff will converge at Sea World Resort for 4 days of training, team-building and professional development. I love this time of the year, where I get to rub shoulders with such inspiring chaplains, and see them grow and develop.
It’s been a very busy couple of months, especially for chaplaincy fundraisers. Over June and July, there have been more than 25 fundraising dinners, which is an incredible effort by LCCs, chaplains and field staff. I want to say a special thank you to everyone who’s been involved in organising those dinners – it’s so encouraging to see your passion in action.
Once again, thank you for all the time and energy you invest into supporting chaplaincy in your community. Young lives are being impacted each day, and that’s made possible through you!
