We’re on the home stretch of the school year, and I wanted to thank you for everything you’ve invested into your community over the last three terms. 2021 has been another year of change and uncertainty in a COVID-19 climate, yet you’ve remained faithful champions and cheerleaders to your chaplains. I speak for both myself and our broader field teams when I say, I cannot thank you enough for all you do!
As we move forward into this final term, I’d like to encourage you to finish the year strong. But also, take some time to acknowledge all the hard work you’ve put in this year. From fundraising events, brekky clubs, chaplaincy dinners, LCC meetings and much, much more, every minute you’ve invested is making a difference to your chaplaincy service and your broader community.
Thank you for seeing the value in this work, and for putting your hand up to say, “yes, I care about our young people.” Your commitment to be involved is already creating a better future for our next generation, and we are so grateful to have you on board.
We’ll continue to keep you updated about other SU Australia developments, so keep an eye out for future updates, but be encouraged that some terrific initiatives are already happening around the country. It’s a new season!
