Term 2 is well underway, and we’ve got some exciting things on the horizon!
Chappy Week is right around the corner from May 22-29, and this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate your chaplain and the many hands who make this important work possible. I always look forward to this week in the calendar year, as it’s such a time of joy and celebration.
At the end of this term we also have our Schools Ministry Conference! This will be the first time we’ve done something of this scale since becoming SU Australia, and it will be a great time of professional development and encouragement.
The conference will be held from 5-8 July at the Novotel on the Sunshine Coast (expenses are fully paid for by SU Australia) and I’m sure your chaplain/s will be full of anticipation to gather together with their fellow chappies.
It’s been an exciting few months for us here at SU Australia, and I’m looking forward to all that the rest of this year will bring. Thank you for your involvement and heart to care for the well-being of our young people through school chaplaincy. It’s a blessing to have you here.
