Through my time as Fundraising Manager I’ve had too many conversations to count with people who love chaplaincy, but they find fundraising a struggle. It’s something I’m passionate about (because it’s just a great cause), which is why I want to help you on your fundraising journey.

Gold4good
I’m excited to announce that we will be running an LCC-specific Gold4Good campaign throughout May and June in partnership with the AJL Fundraising Group.
The concept is simple: your supporters send in their unwanted or broken jewelry, and it will be transformed into financial aid for your chaplaincy service. 50% of the value of all jewellery collected in your campaign will go straight into your chaplaincy service!
You will need to register via this form: https://forms.gle/4G1Fv2EgzWpQMN2H9 and then AJL Fundraising Group will be in touch to guide you through the process.
QR Codes
We have been working with a group called Near Field Creative to provide each chaplaincy service with a chaplaincy-service-specific QR code.
This exciting opportunity is an easy and efficient way for your chaplaincy service to gather donations, and hopefully will be a helpful tool in your fundraising efforts.

Funraisin’
In January of this year, SU QLD switched to a new fundraising platform, Funraisin’. This platform offers lower service fees, so more of your hard-earned fundraising dollars will go directly into supporting your chaplaincy services.
Please direct your donors to suqld.org.au/shop where they can select the chaplaincy service they wish to support.
Entertainment Book
An Entertainment Book is a no cost, minimal effort way to fundraise. The article below goes into more detail, but you can sign up your LCC/Chaplaincy service for a 12-month digital subscription (no social distancing required!) and stand-by as people practically raise money for you.
The way it works is any funds raised from members of your local school, churches or community businesses will be deposited directly into your LCC/Chaplaincy service each quarter. All they need to do is make their purchases under your unique LCC fundraising page, and you’ll reap the benefits of their purchases!
*A special offer to note is for every single city membership purchased, you get a $20 Priceline or Woolworths eGift card. For every multi-city membership purchased, you receive a $40 ICONIC of Priceline eGift card.
